Power Battery

Power batteries serve as the energy cornerstone in the new energy field. As the core units for energy storage and supply, they enable the efficient storage and release of electrical energy through reversible electrochemical reactions. Take the mainstream lithium – ion batteries as an example. During the charging and discharging processes, lithium ions shuttle between the positive and negative electrode materials, while electrons flow through the external circuit to form an electric current, thus completing the conversion and transmission of energy. The advanced Battery Management System (BMS) acts as the “intelligent butler” of power batteries, monitoring key parameters such as battery voltage, temperature, and charge – discharge status in real time. Through intelligent equalization control and thermal management strategies, it ensures the stable operation of the battery pack and extends its service life. The iteration of fast – charging technology has greatly improved the user experience. Some power batteries can be charged from a low level to 80% in just half an hour. From new energy vehicles and electric ships to distributed energy storage systems, power batteries are promoting the global energy structure’s transformation towards sustainability with clean, efficient, and reliable energy supply, and have become an important support for achieving the “dual – carbon” goals.

General Specifications of Power Battery

  • High value in cascade utilization: When power batteries reach the end of their service life in new energy vehicles, their remaining capacity can still meet the needs of scenarios with relatively lower requirements for battery performance, such as energy storage power stations and low – speed electric vehicles. Through cascade utilization, not only can the remaining value of the batteries be fully exploited, reducing the full – life – cycle cost, but it can also reduce resource waste and environmental pressure caused by battery scrapping.
  • Excellent adaptability to extreme environments: For extreme environments such as high temperatures and extremely cold conditions, power batteries adopt technologies such as high – temperature – resistant separator materials, low – temperature electrolyte formulations, and intelligent thermal management systems. In high – temperature environments, it can effectively prevent thermal runaway of the battery; in low – temperature environments, it can quickly preheat to enhance battery activity, ensuring stable operation within the extreme temperature range of -40℃ to 60℃, and expanding the application scope of new energy devices.
